npmx - Package Browser for the npm Registry a fast, modern browser for the npm registry. Search, browse, and explore packages with a modern interface.

I have moved over to npmx.social, along with getting a custom domain setup. The future is now.

Wouldn’t it need to be the inverse for us to actually be touching grass? Low activity days = more grass touching.

Love it though.

I recently made the switch to linux as well. still got my windows ssd in, just in case. But also, surprisingly my corsair stuff works without the icue software. I mean my audio did disappear but a restart fixed that. And that's just a linux meme at this point.

Was chatting with a co-worker about .env file loading for local dev.

Thanks to @e18e.dev and @npmx.dev, turns out it's not necessary to bring in a package for it.

I installed cachyos as a dual boot but it was not _straightforward_. It's still a very nerdy/niche space.

I mean, I first installed bazzite but somehow it made my bios no longer always recognise the drive until switching the slot it was in.

And I think I know what I'm doing generally with PCs.

The community has really rallied around @npmx.dev. I happened to have built outputs from _long ago_ when I first pulled the repo 4 days ago.

The difference is subtle but also hiding massive improvements and efforts by all involved.

@zed.dev just fyi the pro signup link is broken on mobile at least

Uhoh, we broke Zed's auto-updater. 🫣

If you're on v0.203.x or v0.204.x, you'll need to manually check for updates via the Command Palette→ "auto update: check"

We've already shipped the fix - just need you to unbox the latest, shiniest version of Zed manually this time.

I did 6 years at my first company, now on 4 years at my second company with that coming to an end soon.

As long as it’s not stagnant and there’s opportunities to learn and grow. You also live the consequences of your earlier choices.

Doesn’t appear to work on mobile safari though, so very much a progressive enhancement that can’t be relied on.
