Photo of a large number of peeled garlic cloves on a baking sheet. Text: If you ever feel sad, just remember my friend and his girlfriend peeled 102 garlic cloves for a recipe and then realized it said 1-2 garlic cloves.
I think there would be a lot of us making offers on it. :D

LOL Well, I'm not sure I'd ever elevate coleslaw to "sublime" but when done right, it's kind of magical to take coleslaw out of the freezer and it's still crispy.

It says blade at the top - I bet it actually would be good with something tough instead of pork loin. Marinade three days! I need to try this.
Halfway through the winter I usually hit that "Oh no I didn't make enough Chow Chow" moment - and nothing to do about it except wait until September. :D I hope you keep liking, and if you find mistakes, just holler and I'll see what I did wrong.
I am *terrible* at picking up tone (like sarcasm and sometimes joking), especially in text, so I try to take things at face value and answer like that. Food names can definitely be weird. :)

I love ginger beer so that sounds delicious. I use out of date cake mixes all the time. The worst thing that happens is maybe the baking powder is outdated and it doesn't fluff as much. There's nothing in them to really go "bad".

Oh I do keep it on hand - storebought and I've made it, too. I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada. I find it's excellent for seasoning my cast iron. I will absolutely try making a pie crust with it.
They're from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia - other side of the country. They are little tarts made with stewed dates and topped with maple icing. Not a bit of pork or any meat in them at all and no one knows why they're called pork pies! :)
Definitely a great idea for people who eat stir fries! :) Do you have a big garden?
I hope you find more that you like. If you find any issues, reach out.

This sort of thing is very, very flexible. Cut the ingredient amounts in half. Worst case scenario, you make more buttery, cinnamony bread crumbs than you need. The horrors. :P Stick them in the freezer and make more later.
Oh, dear, please don't look up Cape Breton Pork Pies, Plum Pudding, Welsh Rabbit, Toad in the Hole, Headcheese, Sweetbreads, or Rocky Mountain Oysters. Or Ladyfingers. They do not, in fact, contain any lady's fingers. :D But it is a good, affordable sauce when plums aren't in season.
HURRAY! I'm very happy that I've helped.
