the GPL says "Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies of this license document, but changing it is not allowed" which counts as a license

Outer Wilds, if you haven't played it yet, is one of the best games of all time. It's a fun space exploration game with a timeloop twist, and 90% of all game progress happens in your head, as you learn things about the universe and your situation.

Absolutely play it if you haven't yet.

latex is old and generally tries to be backwards-compatible so the default tabular environment is basically stuck with all the bad design decisions they made in 1994 and now there are like 20 different packages that improve it in different incompatible ways
(i think nicematrix does what you want)

funny thing is the backend has supported pronouns for months but they haven't bothered to implement it in the app yet

if you put water first then the water:squash ratio is different in different parts of the cup because it isn't properly mixed which is far worse

if you put the water in first the squash doesn't mix properly this is just common sense cmon

also TIL duckduckgo lets you put bangs anywhere in the search query (e.g. `hello !w world` takes you to the "hello, world" wikipedia page)
although interestingly the empty bang only works at the start and end

22.01.2026 20:12 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

using a bang with an empty name (i.e. just `!` and a space) opens the first result rather than searching a specific site, at least on duckduckgo
so `! 033[D` is equivalent to `\033[D`

22.01.2026 20:04 ๐Ÿ‘ 1 ๐Ÿ” 0 ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1 ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

i get the same thing on duckduckgo
i knew duckduckgo has `! ` to open the first search result, but i didn't know it also supported backslash
