I got added rider (I have no clue what the spelling is) to cover any item we own up to a $100k- this covers theft of the bikes. This was the cheapest option I found and I havenβt had anyone beat it yet when I chat with brokers each year.

To add to this, insurance. We chose to get insurance on our bikes, but you really need to confirm your coverage.
lol we went through 2 batteries in a short time. My mechanic said we really need to drive more
Oh yes, thatβs a good one also! You donβt want to spend thousands on a bike, and have it be an ornament in storage
Weight is a consideration and if you are going to carry it on a bike rack on your car. It might not be a huge obstacle for non cargo bikes but for myself that was a piece that had to consider.
Charging- can the battery come off? We are a condo family and donβt have plugs in the bike room.
Ok, Iβm not too far off then! Mine are 7.5 and keep asking if they can bike to the park alone.
2 children biking on a bike path, snow on one side of the path.
What age did you let your kids start biking places alone? Destinations would be within 1 km of our home.
I think this might be the most ideal day ever planned.
My neighbourhood thinks I'm pretty neat.
I'm grateful for this recognition on #IWD2026. As a trans person, every instance of affirmation, being seen and accepted by the communities in which I'm engaged, matters deeply.

A black and yellow sign that reads: βDear Parents: We will be playing unedited hip hop all day. Due to the nature of the music, there may be language which may offend you or your kids. Unless, of course, you take parenting advice from Olβ Dirty Bastard, in which case β Wu-Tang is for the children.β A Wu-Tang logo appears at the bottom
Taking all my parenting advice from Olβ Dirty Bastard.
Unedited hip hop and F-bombs at breakfast? 100% ok. Being mean to your sister? Absolutely not.
White text: strange how nobody cares about pedestrian safety until the villainous cyclist shows up
terrorizers in training.

I love the idea of connecting both to Airdrie and Cochrane via bike path!
You got this.
Twin parents can do anythingβ¦ even if weβre sometimes running on chaos and overconfidence and coffeeβ¦ all the coffee.
We often had clam chowder on Christmas Eve.
And even if you only rode your UA out of pure enjoyment and it was a toy, why does anyone else get to judge how people spend their money and why does a frivolous purchase mean a whole group of people shouldnβt see wage increase?
Iβm expecting to be required to have my husband or father to sign the citizenship paperwork and no workaround if they are dead.
It was about an hour for me to vote. The line was long and slow and I was tired and hungry so I wasnβt excited about waiting.
I thought those were diaper bags ππ
π¨ This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them.
This is not incompetence. Itβs a deliberate choice to prevent as many people ..

I must have missed this news release because WTF?!?! We still havenβt even gotten this years vaccines and I now have to order next years?
Me being an irresponsible parent allowing my kids to ride all over the road while I take this video ππ
This sucks! I hope they are recovered quickly!
Fuck..our garage got robbed last night - my winter bike, my regular ride, Will's road bike, and our daughter's bike all gone. Will get details up and reports to police and bike index later
@ratliw
4 kids in halloween costumes Road safety is your responsibility not theirs
For our cities, police and any other voices of authority.
Just want to get ahead of the kid shaming content that's coming this Halloween. @thebikinglawyer.bsky.social

Teaching my kids reminds me how incredible teachers are.
Weβve dropped the provincially released strike curriculum and are learning to sew insteadβso fair warning: handmade gifts for everyone this Christmas! #yyc
I get that. I am very sensitive to texture so Iβm often picky about fabrics. Bamboo is one that doesnβt usually hurt my brain when Iβm stressed.
They have an amazing Boxing Day sale that I always spend too much money on!
I also have a couple of peices from Ashiabi. I love bamboo fabric so much!
