Looks like their marketing worked. Iβm thinking about getting some of their gear.
I was in βmotorcycle enthusiasts and ridersβ, so it seems pretty legit. You might find some new communities and people to follow.
Do you listen to the Adventure Rider Radio Podcast? If not yet, here's the link.

It's been running for 12 years now and the quality gets better and better. Great guests. Pure fascination.

Looks beautiful, but truth be told - Iβm getting old and I drop the bike riding beyond my skill level a good bit. I need something light I can pick up over and over.
Agree. Maybe Patreon would be good for individuals. I already sponsor a few podcasts that way.
Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle at Turgen Gorge in Kazakhstan
Thinking back to the last ride on my Himmy as I canβt bring it with me when I move to India in a couple weeks.
On the bright side, time for a new bike. Perhaps a Himalayan 450 or KTM 390 Adventure.
Any recommendations?
Pure genius
I always thought the purpose of rackless was for fly/ride scenarios where youβre on a different bike for every trip. Even then, most rentals come with some system you can use.
If itβs your bike, seems like having the rack gives you so many more options and better durability.
How comfortable was the new bike for a 300+ km ride?
Isnβt βfreeβ more like 15-30%? I like the app by the way.
That was my plan for later this summer but work is conspiring against me. Iβm not sure Iβll have enough time to get down and back.
Nice day out on the road up to Big Almaty Lake in the Ile Alatau mountains outside Almaty, Kazakhstan. #motosky
What happens when the on screen keyboard comes up?
I like the app. It certainly picks some unconventional routes where I live.
Love the pics. Iβm hoping we will see more ride reports like this here.
First decent ride of the season up to the base of Shymbulak ski resort in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
At the end you can see the Medeu ice rink at 5,500ft, built in 1951.

Iβll send you a few spots to check out. If you want to grab a beer, let me know.
Where are you headed in Kazakhstan? Iβm in Almaty.
Where abouts is that? Iβm originally from Oregon but havenβt been back in ages. I think I need to get back and do more exploring.
I switched over to a down quilt and a good sleeping pad. Much more comfortable and packs up really small.
Looks like Iβll also be retired real soon (earlier than expected). See you out on the road!
Iβve been wanting to give Bhutan a try
Iβve downloaded the app. Told my wife now I just need a BMW to go with it. π€
What app are you using to track your ride?
Fastmail is good. Based in Australia.
Where abouts in India is that? Iβm moving to Delhi next year for work. Looking forward to some adventures.
Favorite so far is above the Arctic Circle in Norway but I have a big trip planned for the summer to Tajikistan, so maybe that will be my new favorite. Welcome to #motosky.
Enjoying the posts. Iβm moving to Delhi in 2026 and looking forward to exploring these places.
