Target, after abusing its customers and treating them like shit for "a few years," would like the relationship to go back to how it once was, with the romance... I am not sure it works that way.

U.S.A. cosplay! What could go wrong? Future historians may debate: "Was the Trump administration made up solely of domestic terrorists, knowingly tearing down the government from within, or simply venal criminal morons? How many of each group and did they overlap?"

We have so little experience invading places and then kind of getting stuck and not knowing what to do and then leaving humiliated. Why not try it?

Selamawit Mehari, an Eritrean single mother of three, was starting her day when federal agents showed up at her apartment in St. Paul, Minn., on a recent morning. As her 13-year-old son wailed and her older daughter produced paperwork proving her mother was in the United States lawfully, the agents shackled Ms. Mehari and took her away.
"They didn't explain anything," recalled her daughter, Yosan, 21, who described the encounter to The New York Times. "We didn't understand. We had done everything right."
The next day, chained at the wrists, waist and ankles, Ms. Mehari, 38, was shuffling up the steps of a plane bound for Texas, tears streaming down her face in the frigid wind.

In Minnesota, this policy involved ICE officers arresting refugees who had done EVERYTHING right, then flying them to Texas in chains for interrogation.

Remember, these people had filed every application on time, had done nothing wrong, and were here in the country 100% legally.

"failing a psychopathic personality it will pick on the verbally facile high-grade defective." 2/2. So, yeah, most thoughtful people take a pass when it comes to politics...

How do groups choose leaders? According to Dr. Wilfred Bion (1897-1979): "In its search for a leader the group finds a paranoid schizophrenic or malignant hysteric if possible; failing either of these, a psychopathic personality with delinquent trends will do..." (1/2)

Abstract black and white painting featuring chaotic, swirling patterns with sharp contrasts between light and dark areas. The texture appears thick and layered, creating a sense of depth and movement.

Handwritten poem on lined paper. The text reads:
With all that is going on,
I don't get it.
I don't get gotten.
We all get got.
No one gets it.
I fall in the spaces between the words.
The worlds, the world's
the sword.

That aside, I (whatever THAT is) much enjoyed your ekphrastic poetry and appreciate your noodling over appropriation and what makes art art. I (ditto) noodle there too.

I cannot "let [you] know what [I] think" because I have serious doubts about knowing what I think (let alone knowing how to let someone else know).

Second Harvest Heartland has been running six extra emergency food box packing shifts a week to keep up with new local demand for food. This is on top of seventeen normal repacking shifts which have been almost entirely full with Twin City neighbors volunteering to feed their community.

We continue to see no drawdown today with ICE activity in the Phillips neighborhood, Columbia Heights, and Shakopee.

Our pressure is working as the Senate bill to fund DHS did not pass last night. Keep up the pressure by reaching out to your federal representatives.

Like 75% of the US Olympic curlers are from Minnesota. A lot of them curl out of two clubs in Saint Paul, one club is in Frogtown, a neighborhood that has been very heavily targeted by ICE. These curlers are good neighbors.

The problem with them choosing this as their primary talking point is that nearly every in Minnesota personally knows someone who has been taken by ICE. And they all had either a spotless criminal record or an entirely non-violent one.

These are lies. They are going to lose. MN will not quit.
