Astro with Firebase might be my new favorite stack. Simple, scalable with SSR option. Maybe I'll throw Svelte or Vue on it as extra.
What I've tried:
Having a corporate job I don't like, while trying to bootstrap an indie project.
Result: constant feel of grinding, time pressure and stress.
New approach: become a freelancer instead & cooling indie hacking a little bit.
Feels like I was trying to jump two stairs at a time.
If finding a good problem to solve and entering the right market are the most important decisions as an indie hacker...
...does it also mean that being a great market researcher is the most important hat you'll be wearing?
This includes taking unsexy gigs as well.
My strategy and tip
to you as an indie hacker who hasn't yet found the right problem and product-market fit:
Just start helping business anyway you can. Let patterns emerge.

Whenever it comes to sales I suddenly have the urge to build something new instead. Ahh!
Validation without failure criteria creates unfinished projects, not completed research.

I am trying a new strategy for my #indiehacker journey.
No MVPs. No prototypes. No auth. No landing page.
Instead:
Simple clickable UI, one minute screen recording explaining stuff, and a close beta access request form.
The goal is to validate ideas faster.
I'm offering MVP-as-a-Service with 10 years of experience in web development behind me!
Thanks if you share this with someone who might be interested!

One of my favorite apps of all time is KanbanFlow. Might not have the fanciest UI, but it's a lightning fast Kanban board with built-in time tracking, and great customization options, that is also a mobile PWA.
I've done some research on form backends to get email notifications about form submissions on my contact page. The best I found was web3forms.com. Easy setup, 250 free form submissions a month, custom redirect, and working Reply button in your inbox. #indiehackers #solopreneur
Today, I've continued working on my portfolio website. Quite happy with the About page.
