- it's just messing around with near/far planes with no clear on the render texture so it's not anything fancy (you could probably do a lot more involved FX, even with the lack of custom shaders)

unless you render to the main window, which i accidentally realised when i drew a view of 0,0,0 to the same window that my authoring interface lives in)
- also noticed that if you grabbed a render texture that had clearing turned off, it would produce glitchy neon bright graphics in the preview

- tried to get it to work (seemingly just black screens,
