So Duke sent out an email that they are limited on power and want us to conserve power during one of the coldest days of our lives here in Florida.. what do you mean, you’re limited? That’s your whole thing, power… you’re telling me you have just been faking it till you make it?!

Been really in my feelings lately and decided to put the emotions to paper (or in this case, bits and bytes). Coming up on wrapping up the work on my newest game (known as OLDITW for now). I would love to share this short narrative experience with all who are curious/interested!
Man, the job market is rough. I’ve been keeping track on Notion and after 50 job applications I have:
37 Rejected
11 Ghosted
2 Interviewed (with both being rejections).
Layoffs suck, but what sucks more is seeing how your hard work up to this point means nothing.
I finally finished a freaking game. It ain’t much, but it’s mine. End of Shift is a 5-10 minute little slow paced game about doing your job.

Look, I understand that AI is making things cheaper and faster, but in no way is it making things better. There are so many false positives and issues with companies using it (Flock comes to mind).
We need to stop blindly using this tech for everything. It needs to be made right or not at all.

I like to believe that somewhere out there in the YouTube codebase somewhere there are analytics capturing how quickly a user closes the premium modal. Because I immediately find the close button to that screen every time. Hate subscriptions

This is a crazy idea, but would be really cool — make the icon an outlet. When you click on it, animate the male part of the lights into it and “light the lights.” Again, super abstract but would be sooo cool
