Will upload a new Ekphrasis page later today ~*
Cleaning the contacts didn't work, and I think I would be able to fix it by soldering a wire between two test points, but I'm not sure and in any case I paid a fully-working-price for it so.
Had to return the GBC I just bought because one of the buttons doesn't work :_
Double-page spread, showing the chapter title and an island on the distance at sunrise.
Splash page, a zoom-in on the island.
Comic page with two panels. The zoom-in continues, a brutalist building stands atop the island.
Full-page view of the building.
I've created a website were I'll be publishing Ekphrasis, the comic I'm (slowly) making.
You can already read the first few pages there, I hope you like them <3

Illustration of a bipedal, sloth/tapir/anteater inspired creature on a mechanic's overalls. They are wearing aviator glasses on their head and holding a wrench on their hand.
My illustration of a narly, one of the playable species in the upcoming sci-fi TTRPG @astracordis.space .
It's being a rough week, but I just found some solace by reading about and looking at pictures of toucans on Wikipedia.
That was my fear yeah, not immediate damage but long-term, more silent one. Guess Ill have to get a new battery module then.
Note: it started smoking when I had already damaged the resistors on the GBC's PCB, and it seemed to do a full-charge just fine.
Bough another GBC to a person in my city for a pretty neat price. The question now is, should I add the battery mod that started smoking for a bit, but then worked fine, to this new one or is it a bad idea?
Color illustration of a massive, bipedal, fish-amphibian looking being. They are wearing a kind of military exoskeleton-armor and carrying a massive hammer on their shoulder.
My illustration of an annael, one of the playable species on the upcoming sci-fi TTRPG @astracordis.space.
Comic page consisting of two panels, the first showing a communications tower and the second the metal dome it stands on.
"I am a shepherdess, and my herd is celestial and mechanic."

Worst part about having broken my GBC is turning out to be the humiliating process that is buying a second-hand console online in 2026.
This one was really fun to design!
This was a deeply fascinating read.
Color illustration of a green humanoid crustacean creature. She's wearing orange and red clothes that resemble a mix of ancient greek and modern seafaring apparel. She also wields a wooden staff reinforced with metal on both ends.
My illustration of a kadashii, one of the playable species on the upcoming sci-fi TTRPG @astracordis.space.
shigesato itoi and shigeru miyamoto interview https://shmuplations.com/itoimiyamoto/ Itoi: Speaking of that mindset… this is a slightly different topic, but take game mechanics, for example. Let's say you have an item in the game that makes you so strong it practically breaks the game. When you look at game magazines, they talk about those items as if it's some bargain for the player. They think it's a good thing, in other words. They don't stop to think, "If you put something like this in, it's not even a game anymore." The idea that anything that gives you an advantage must be "good"—it's starting to feel a bit warped to me. Miyamoto: That's because their goal isn't to inhabit the character and enjoy the experience, it's just to beat the game. Itoi: I guess they just want to be able to say, "I won!" Miyamoto: "I finished it in three days," and all that. Itoi: Boasting about speed in games is a sickness, really.
they would hate backloggd reviews for games released before 2004 </3
Poster style color illustration of An Antidote for Strychnine, a song by The Mountain Goats. It's composed of several panels displaying different images based on the song: lab rats, chemicals, fish bones... Green and blue tones predominate, but the band's name and the song title are written in yellow.
Poster-style illustration showing eight different alien species against a white background. The title of the game and the name of each one can also be seen.
Color illustration of a spaceship desk, filled to the brim with retrofuturistic tech. The monitors and lights of the panels light up the scene, and the logo of the game can be seen on the screens.

Idk if reacting with a ❤️ to a Slack message is the most professional way to indicate you've read it, but it's the one I've found.
Oh yeah, I've been missing having one right now. I'm slowly trying to build a "toolbox", but these things aint cheap, haha.
Photo oh my hand, my nails are painted black and a metallic bit sparkles on my middle finger's nail.
