Your friend is doing good work.
Binged it. Loved it.
βMeta has stolen booksβ: authors to protest in London against AI trained using βshadow libraryβ
Lovely. Is there a way to hide annotations in Design Mode and show them in Dev Mode?
Found my ideal writing machine
In my experience, people with no self-doubt are usually inept.
I recently started pulling together a list of books, videos, and tools for #writers
I'm aiming to update the list every Sunday morning and will soon add podcasts and substacks to the mix.

I have never spelled the word silhouette correctly first time. Never. Not even close enough for autocorrect to guess.
The characters in this scene have "stepped back in shock" so many times I think the room is now empty. #writing #editing
Word fuel. #writing
Trying something new over the holiday season for the youths who visit my Little Free Library.
Iβm wrapping up some of my favorite MG and YA novels with little tags that hint at whatβs inside.
Canβt wait to see how many presents we can give away this month. πβ€οΈ
All I want for Christmas is to be added to your #Writers starter pack. ππ
A sketch of a four-legged alien predator. Ink on post-it note.
A sketch of a low-flying craft. A Kartan Barge. Ink on a post-it note.
A sketch of two characters standing outside an organic mound with a slit down the side, suggesting an entrance. Ink on post-it note.
A low-flying alien craft. Sleek, with two tendrils trailing behind it. In on post-it note.

Hey, #writers Photo of your desk as it is right now. No tidying.
Meowfia boss.
Sorry.
A big chunky book. The Dune Bible: an extraordinary artefact from Jodorowsky's epic Dune project, being the storyboard for the βgreatest movie that was never madeβ.
If you're struggling with what to get me this Christmas, a "Dune Bible" is up for auction. It's a bit pricey, but I'm sure you could all chip in.

Doubt it'll stop any thieving bots, but feel free to add it too.
A recently delivered and satisfyingly well-stacked pile of wood ready for the winter.
Got wood.
Beautiful cover art.
And why not a process video...
A rough sketch of mean looking alien. Small black eyes, slits for nostrils, thick neck and rounded shoulders. He has a braid with a blade fastened to the end and held in place by a metal plate on his chest.
A character sketch from book one. Jenta β a slightly unhinged Hunter with anger issues.
Same. I loved rediscovering his books when my kids were small. They loved his books.

If it were me, I would never take that off.
Just wrote 4 four pages of alien history so that the three lines in the book referring to it make sense to ME. π€¦π»ββοΈ
Dune is a great example. What I got from the Reddit thread was making sure it's just there as an option and not necessary to follow the story, and should add an extra element of texture to the story. It's funny I've found that as I write the glossary, it sparks off ideas for the story itself.
It's how I found you. Not sure which one, though.
