i have no problem with nsfw content existing. in fact, i’m glad it does. but people should have a choice in whether they see it or not.

plus surely this would reduce the amount of work the moderation team has to do right?

bsky needs a 3 strikes rule or something, cause the number of ppl that don’t label their adult content and leave it up to @moderation.bsky.app is way too high. so much lands on my main’s feed.

right now you can just do that with no consequences. people have no reason to bother labeling their stuff.

also, at least as of right now, i don't sell nsfw content, but i do advocate for adults being allowed to do adult things.

If its fine for sites like jinxxy and gumroad to keep unlisted nsfw products, i feel like all we really need is a separate site that links back to the unlisted products for discoverability. just keep discovery and payment separate.

aaaand Jinxxy gets hit by payment processor censorship :/

they mention they're in talks with "2 new, adult-friendly payment processors" though, so i'll stay hopeful about that

yeahh, on the github it says they happened to be working on a major refactor when all this discord nonsense started, so they’re asking people to be patient and hold off on self hosting

your post has led me to look into it, and i’d say 1000% fluxer if it’s as good as it sounds. likely what i’ll use protogen.chat for if a domain is useful for self hosting.
