It's my birthday, which means you are legally obligated to repost this and also tell all your friends to hire me because I'm very good at my job*

These will never stop being hilarious

Day 1 #gdc , letβs hope my body can handle the next 3 days lol
Happy Birthday!
Not at GDC this year, but hereβs a couple scraps of free advice on networking for new folks:
Good advice. Be human, prioritise other humans rather than βcelebsβ, respect your weak human body.

I've been running gdcparties.com for a few years now. Some shitty company BlueberryAI decided they'd just take all the source code for the work I've done and reskin it, advertising it as their own. Jokes on them...it was still linked to my events spreadsheet, and now their website looks like this π
Masterful
You can even also add a small little scene or Diorama for the character to flex a bit, as long as you can show that you can make both and use all the necessaary programs like Designer, Painter, ZBrush and render them in a Realtime renderer like Marmoset, UE5, Unity, etc.
Here is a good example of what to expect. www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/42...
If you look at what is expected here, It can be broken down like this; One good Character, One good Environment and maybe a Prop or Substance Material. You can show a lot more with your breakdowns from ZBrush and Painter.
Back with another Tutorial!

The infinite sadness of losing another hour because of an old harvesting practice made during the founding of the US. Thanks Ben Franklin!
Itβs a valid response to them being so dismissive, like βcongrats you arenβt eating this shit sandwichβ in the current buffet of shit. This day and age, we donβt see a lot of sympathy and understanding that these are people being affected and they arenβt faceless anymore because of social media.
Finished up The Unknown Island environment! the feedback I received while working on this environment was incredible helpful and I really appreciated it!
Iβm #GDC ready! If anyone is attending and wants to meet up for a 1on1, portfolio review or just a chat, Iβve set up my schedule on the App for appointments!

Dug up some Zelda art I made from an UE4 scene over 12 years ago! This was a test using dDO and Quixel to make some PBR tiles and the triforce from a level in Likk to the Past!

Digital illustration with a traditional appearance of purple and yellow-orange hues on canvas. The setting is Clocktown, from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. A low view of Link stepping away cautiously while looking up past the clocktower at the massive and menacing moon that will soon crash down on Termina.
