It's a word that most of us first encountered while reading. Since English is at least 3 languages in a trench coat so rules are really suggestions, we each had to make our own best guess on how to pronounce it.

I only notice it when I touch the right spot, so it's not persistent or annoying or anything. Every few months I'll bump it just right and remember it and maybe play with it for a minute or so before I continue with whatever I was doing.
I hope yours either goes away or is no more bothersome.
I have something similar. I had a head injury 35 years ago that required several stitches. Ever since it healed, if I touch a particular spot on my hairline, I "feel" it about 1-2 inches away. I'm guessing some nerve pathways got crossed as I was healing.

As a photographer, it was a challenge to reduce it to just 5, but each of these sightings has great significance to me and represent important parts of my life.
Same here. I like to smoke it and it smokes/cooks waaay faster if I spatchcock it. Besides, it's not safe to stuff it at smoker temps and times anyway, so why keep it whole?
