Disgraceful, as are Sydney's draconian anti-protest laws
Incredible style
What a killer mic drop. Penny-pinching, risk-averse boards and ruining many institutions.

It's insane that so many prominent people and governments use it. There's a cognitive dissonance where they think their use of it is ok even though it's a disaster of a platform.
Hence, Amyl and the Sniffers
I saw this earlier. It's kinda both.
"When built against the 15 SDK or earlier, Tahoe returns 16 for compatibility with previous numbering and all existing apps; when built against the 26.0 SDK, it returns 26.0 for forward compatibility."

You've got spumc, kid
Looking forward to a heavily researched and informative shipping report
That's beautiful
They're owned by IGN / Ziff Davis soooo not far off. That said, I've read their stuff on and off for years and they seem good.
I've been with them for years with my own domain and never had any issues. The frontend was pretty janky for a while and it's better now. The Android app is still a bit dodgy but good enough.

Scathing article about the techno-optimists' self-own. I wish Trump never happened but I hope VCs suffer.
It was a very funny ep!
I hate AI art so much, and it's so irresponsible for our major political parties to use it
Me: Oh no that trolley is going to run us over!
Guy tied up on the track next to me who somehow thinks he's actually the guy holding the lever: Lol cry more π
As someone who spends a lot time thinking about the values I want to teach my kid (besides PLEASE DONβT EAT DIRT), the thing I keep coming back to is this: I want him to believe that the strongest, bravest thing he can do is give a shit about other peopleβespecially ones who arenβt like him at all.
That was quite an incredible and deeply sad read. These processes need to become both more logical and more human. The most logical solution should be what's best for the participants and their family.
CP-1252 + CRLF = certified sickos
I laugh so hard at the Subway reviews. You've really hit a goldmine here.
Good analysis, thanks. The impact of "generic independents" in polls is one I find the most interesting. Some polls have had a fairly high % where there's no one viable running.
P.S. lol these replies
I found myself inadvertently singing the song in my head recently. I wasn't even eating a Big Egg.

They are definitely still being updated, maybe on the down low by some engineer π
Have to start charging for hand pics now
Good to know we can continue to have the same position on Substack as we did before. Seeing more of @ghost.org these days.
Tidal is great. It's very music focused and gives higher royalties (I'll admit they're still low). The quality isn't even a big draw for me, I just like everything else.
This saga is too funny
I try not to be surprised by user behaviour, as someone who develops software, but my god they always surprise me. It seems like so many people don't know about the Subscriptions page or just don't see it.
