Unity prototype grew a bit more than just tile solution testing. Now it has level transitions, some tiles actually working. Cool little side hobby ;)

Cute little tileset I must admit. Coming along nicely.
Idea is to have weapons on the sprite change depending on what you're holding. Currently there are 20+ weapon types, and they all have their "hold in hand" miniature versions.

No purely visual tile logic = all tiles are independent, don't connect to each other etc. Setting this up is fairly simple, but it's still a task, and tasks take time.
So depends where one wants to put their "time points": more complex game mechanics, or more nuanced visuals.

tldw is that energy providers push part of the massive data center energy cost onto consumers. Eg. you can see a 30% increase on your energy bill because there are data centers in your region.
More importantly the scale and acceleration of this is terrifying.
