I got this newsletter update from Lufthansa and I kind of like what they do here with explicitly offering an option to unsubscribe.
You noticed how the image didn't load, yup, that's how they don't know if I'm reading it.
There is some honesty in the message, what do you think?

Wow, it's 2026 and Microsoft Excel still hangs and crashes when a network connection is slow or down?!

Perhaps that might have something to do with testing behaviors 😉

I can tell you in September 😅 right now the evenings are getting brighter and brighter so these are generally very well visible. I think they have some backlight though.

I agree with the sentiment. There is one phrase that deserves a closer look for me:

I think this is a good aspiration.
I don't think it's always realistic.
