On holiday in Austria I tried a delicious soup made with kohlrabi, a vegetable we donโt eat that often in the Netherlands. A shame, because itโs really tasty! All the more reason to cook this creamy kohlrabi soup at home. Youโll find the recipe on my youtube:

Lately I have mainly baked large loaves of bread. Now I thought it would be nice to bake some small whole wheat rolls . They are extra delicious with the (optional) pumpkin seeds in the dough and on the sandwiches.
Do you have a "Dutch oven" or other large cast iron pan? You can not only use it for cooking, but also to bake delicious crispy breads. I baked this white bread in it. It was super tasty with cheese, sprinkles, peanut butter. With everything actually! In this video you can see how it's made.
I always avoided it thinking it would taste like carrots. Later I found out it was super nice. Even put a recipe for it on my blog (subtitled in English)

A vegetarian twist to a traditional Indonesian dish. These vegetarian mie goreng is packed with flavor. I don't cook this every week, but when I do it makes my family very happy (with English subtitles).

Limoncello is by far my favorite Italian liqueur. It's also very easy to make. The hardest was to find a store that sold pure alcohol, but after that it was super easy (see my recipe video with English subtitles).

My waffle maker was broken for a while, but last week I finally bought a new one. Just a simple one from Action. This way I could finally bake fresh waffles again. Fortunately, because they are much more tasty than waffels from the supermarket

So it seems its the official โpancake dayโ in Holland. I donโt need an excuse to bake pancakes. Dutch pancakes (pannenkoeken) are easy to make and require very few ingredients

OMG. My last sourdough bread is destined to fail. I was a bit rushed and used rye flour instead of wheat flour. Dit some rescue attempts with extra water and wheat flower. Fingers crossed, maybe it will be edible ๐ณ #sourdough
