Last I heard about said individual is that his business was not allowed to sell in California. I've tried to keep him off my radar as much as possible.

Some of these proposed bills smell like someone lobbying on behalf of a company selling (or proposing to sell) software/firmware to make things "legal". Happens more often than you'd think. One thing you won't see is any US Rep/Sen campaigning for any of them, just state reps in safe seats.

It was written in the voice of an undereducated blue collar type as per Mark Knopfler. AFAIK, he has admitted regret at the use of that word in the years since. You hear the same word used in Fairytale of New York by the Pogues. Intent there was similar to Money for Nothing.

I can do it, but it gets harder the older I get. The Magic Eye stuff was fun when it first dropped but there are only so many sail boats you can look at before it gets tiresome. :-D

Mouse is built from a Bambulab kit and a design I found on Printables. Filament is GreenGate3D American White and American Blue R-PETG.

This is sort of a beta version. After assembly I made some small design tweaks that will make printing and assembly a bit easier. /3

Using a Raspberry Pi 5 running Debian 13.3. KDE Plasma and Mate are my two main choices for the desktop environment. The display is a 10.1 IPS with touch. Keyboard is an off brand mechanical with an enclosure I designed to match the system. /2

Aaaand we’ve reached full assembly. I’m calling it the Yoyodyne Y-26. It’s my homage to the Data General Dasher D2, as seen in Severance as the computers used in Macro Data Refinement. /1

If I'm not mistaken there were some ongoing court cases during that period that kept a lot of evidence sealed pending the outcomes. Heck even Maxwell had some outstanding appeals that prevented disclosure until her appeals were finished.
