You know what would have helped with this sudden isolation we now find ourselves in?

This 10000%. Immigration is entirely necessary, not just to fill jobs but to fund our economy.
Just to clarify, my own view on immigration:
It is deeply necessary to counter the cliff edge we’re facing because of our rapidly ageing population.
Labour is not having the right conversation - we don’t need to stop immigration, we need to explain why it’s critical for our survival.
Quick Question:
Even if you do believe that immigration is too high (questionable), do you think that the current approach being taken by the Labour government towards immigration is appropriate?
If yes, why?
If no, also why?
