this is also exacerbated by the fact that most of the people in the communities I'm in don't give a FUCK about sports, much less sports television production.

it's so hard to find fellow sports fans in the queer community or even find people who won't look at you weird or make fun of you for it

like I can't talk to any of my friends or family about work because I just get blank stares and awkward smiles and nods because like, it's so hard to explain and understand it without doing it
