The narrative that Israel is somehow calling the shots in some shadowy form is just the same age-old antisemitic trope about Jewish world control. Spreading these tropes only serves to boost antisemitic sentiment, as we've just seen in Rotterdam. Perhaps the dutch could be looking inward.

Dj Thorsten Phonatic auf Facebook Gestern Abend erreichte mich eine WhatsApp-Nachricht, dass mein für heute geplanter DJ-Gig in der kürzlich neu eröffneten ,,Ciao Ciao Bar" in Berlin abgesagt wurde. Eine oder mehrere Personen hätten die Bar kontaktiert und sich darüber beschwert, warum dort ein ,Zionist" spielen dürfe. Statt zunächst das Gespräch mit mir zu suchen - wie es bei offensichtlicher Diffamierung redlich gewesen wäre -entschied man sich für vorauseilenden Gehorsam. ,,Man könne es sich am Anfang nicht leisten, einen schlechten Ruf zu bekommen", hieß es in der Nachricht, und der Auftritt wurde kurzerhand abgesagt. Anstatt meiner legt dort heute ein DJ auf, dessen Instagram-BioResistance is a daily practice" samt Wassermelone -Symbol zeigt. Ein Schelm, wer Böses dabei denkt.

Die Angriffe und Diffamierungen, die darauf abzielen, meinen Ruf als DJ und meine ökonomische Grundlage zu schädigen, haben in den vergangenen anderthalb Jahren deutlich zugenommen - eine direkte Folge meiner öffentlichen Positionierung gegen das zunehmend israelfeindliche und antisemitische Klima, das seit dem 7. Oktober immer großere Teile der Berliner Clubkultur durchdringt. Es gibt eine Gruppe besonders radikaler Israelhasser und Antisemiten aus der Berliner Clubszene, die gezielt meine angekündigten Gigs sowie die veröffentlichten Programme von Clubs und Bars der Stadt durchforsten, um Clubs und Booker mit diffamierenden Mails unter Druck zu setzen. In einigen Fallen zeigt das Wirkung - und trifft, wie in diesem Fall, mitunter auf Wohlwollen. Ich kenne zudem Fälle, in denen Clubs und ihre Booker von diesen Aktivisten prophylaktisch kontaktiert wurden, sodass meine Anfragen an Locations, bei denen ich zuvor regelmäßig gespielt habe, oft einfach unbeantwortet bleiben - man könnte dies treffend als Ghosting bezeichnen.

Ein wesentlicher Teil des Problems besteht darin, dass viele Protagonisten der Clubszene, die diesen Tendenzen eigentlich kritisch gegenüberstehen, sich entschieden haben, die Füße stillzuhalten und diese Entwicklungen widerspruchslos zu erdulden. Sie tun dies, um selbst nicht in die Schusslinie zu geraten. Dieses Schweigen wiederum ermutigt die antisemitischen und israelfeindlichen Aktivisten, ihre Aktionen auszuweiten, die Szene nach Belieben unter ihrer Knute zu gängeln und sie Schritt für Schritt zu dominieren - verschont werden nur jene, die vollig auf ihrer Linie sind. Um die letzten Residuen der Clubkultur vor dem Zugriff solch faschistoider Akteure und Gruppen zu bewahren und gegen diese totalitären Entwicklungen zu verteidigen,ist es längst überfälig, dass die schweigende Mehrheit der Clubszene, die diese Entwicklungen mit Besorgnis verfolgt, öffentlichen Widerspruch einlegt und sich dafü einsetzt, dass ihre Szene - ein Raum, in dem Musik, Eskapismus und Exzess im Zentrum standen und der die Utopie verkörperte, ein Ort zu sein, in dem niemand Angst haben müsse, verschieden zu sein - nicht von radikalen Antisemiten und Israelhassern gek

בואו נדבר על המצוקה של הישראלים בחו"ל. לא אלה ש'נתקעו' בחו"ל, אלא מי שגרים שם. ואני לא מדברת על האנטישמיות. כשהצעתי את הנושא במערכת בתחילת המלחמה התגובות היו קשות עד כדי זועמות. "מה מעניינת אותי עכשיו המצוקה של ישראלים בחו"ל". אבל בהדרגה גם נרגעו האמוציות קצת וגם השתכנענו שבאמת יש פה מצוקה. חלק ממה שכואב בה הוא האופן בו היא מושתקת משני הצדדים - מול הישרלאים החו"לניקים לא מדברים על מצוקתם כי היא תמיד יותר קטנה. מול המקומיים הם לא יכולים להסביר, ומצופה מהם להתנהג כרגיל. וכן, ישראלים בישראל - זה לא סותר את זה שהחו"לניקים יכולים להגיד דברים נורא נורא מעצבנים לפעמים.

Jews and Israelis probably experience the same levels of antisemitism on both platforms, Mastodon was particularly painful for me because I had an existing social circle there (some I even knew offline) and many of them started posting/boosting vile stuff, it was so painful

"Greater Israel" is not really part of public political discourse in Israel apart for some messianic elements in the government who represent an extreme minority. You're promoting a skewed perspective which supports the antisemitic idea that Jews are imperialists.
