In Nederland bepaalt gas de prijzen met name in de ochtend- en avondpiek. Stijgt de gasprijs, dan ook die stroomuren. Dat werkt ook door in alle vaste/variabele energiecontracten. Bij dynamische energieprijzen kun je die moment met bijv. je EV of warmtepomp zo veel mogelijk vermijden.

Heute werden die deutschen Solaranlagen den fรผnften Tag in Folge mehr als 40 GW Strom รผber Mittag in das รถffentliche Netz einspeisen. Letztes Jahr gab es nur vier Tage mit รผber 40 GW Solar im kompletten Mรคrz und in den Jahren davor gab es das noch gar nicht.

Hah interesting: electric cars are significantly cheaper in Denmark and Sweden (for once), and it's likely mostly due to a much larger market share and more competitive market, although Sweden has a bigger market overall.

There are also other public EV charging points, such as in car parks, at shops and other publicly accessible locations. This brings Amsterdam to over 16,000 charging points. This means that the city has more public charging points than countries such as Portugal or Poland.

Fascinating stuff: confirms Chinese investment now mainly target new EV/battery factories in EU. Described as โ€œlow tech transferโ€ supply hubs these are mostly aimed at assembly, not adding much local value, that sidestep EU duties. CATL in Spain promises tech sharing, but hard evidence is scarce.

This is actually quite smart. Many of the EUโ€™s major trading partners - like Canada, Japan, South Korea - already run their own versions of local content rules.
