Darnit, I missed the signing today!
They really did. 🥹
Selfie of me standing with Tim Jacobus, holding up a sketch that he made with a Goosebumps sign in the background.
I met a childhood hero of mine today. Tim Jacobus is one of the major influences who inspired my love for making art. I remember being beyond wowed by the Goosebumps covers. I stared at the covers and tried to draw them, just as much as I spent time reading the books themselves. (If not more so)

If you need a timeline cleanse you should know that Dexter Sol Ansell who plays Egg on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms went to school as Egg for World Book Day.
I prefer to be in the echo chambers where people intentionally seek kind and likeminded friends (bluesky), rather than the places where people are manipulated into believing radical nonsense (x).
Anywhere can become an echo chamber, and that isn’t inherently a bad thing. The how/why matters.
Hi! I'm the new Head of Communications @bsky.app.
I've been watching the open social web evolve over the past couple of years. Bluesky represents what I believe the future of the internet should look like: built on principles that put people first.
Banjo!
Yup! At this place:

While in a restaurant in Paris, I drank wine from a baby bottle.
[MISSILE HITS PAINTING WITH SPECTACULAR FORCE. THE PAINTING IS DESTROYED.]
SON: Dad, but the painting is ruined! All that work for nothing!
FATHER: No, son. That’s job security. Tomorrow… we paint again.
Whether this is real or not, I want a movie about post-apocalyptic artists who survive by painting decoys like a bunch of bloodthirsty Splatoon characters.
I like to believe that there’s a version of me out there somewhere who never makes that mistake 🥲

How I arrived on BlueSky:
This dude and his endless invite power to get the artists on here.
That was such a fun time. I made it my mission to populate the place with artists 😂
And then I got an invite from you through @megsyv.bsky.social and that's when this website really took off uwu

How I arrived on BlueSky:
2020 was a lot, I wasn’t happy online. I stopped using social media for a few years. Then an old game dev friend from Twitter reached out and offered me a Bluesky invite. I had zero interest in going on social media again but gave it a shot anyway. So glad that I did.
ALMOST AT $10K!! CAN WE GET TO $10k, CHAT?? 👀 👀
(I’m sorry I called you chat, I’m both too online and not online enough to have earned that parlance 🥲 🙏 support my comic anyway?)

Are you going to any cons this year? 👀
AI-created art isn't eligible for copyright protection, after the Supreme Court chose not to review a lower court ruling.
In 2022 the Copyright Office said images without “human authorship,” don't qualify for copyright protection — this was affirmed in 2023 by a district court.
I’m off to see the wizard ✈️ #ECCC
I’m moving around like I’m moving so fast but I’m getting so little accomplished.
Every time I go on a trip, I amaze myself at how slowly I pack.

Awww I love this. It reminds me of a nickname we have for one of our pugs, named Idgie. She doesn’t like when we cuddle and has to wedge herself between us. So we call her “Squidgie” for “squeeze between” + “Idgie.”
