19 November 1943 | A selection took place in the female camp in Auschwitz II-Birkenau. 394 Jewish prisoners were selected. During the transport to the gas chambers, two women tried to escape: Bina Braun and Rosa Theberger. They were shot. The remaining women were murdered in the gas chambers.
