Some quick Pokémon etymology (Pokétymology?) here:

Pombon = Pomeranian + Bonfire

Gecqua = Gecko + Aqua

Browt = He's just got Big Fucking Brows. Just look at him. He looks like a Browt. You couldn't name him anything else. That's Browt.

I think I'm leaning Gecqua. I have zero faith that Ponbon is gonna stay cute and on four legs. It's been like a decade and I'm still mad about Incineroar.

I'm a huge fan of all three of these, honestly. I have no idea which one I'd choose. This is a great trio of designs.

If Pombon goes bipedal for its final stage evolution, I riot.

It's a surprising discussion point to me, purely because I have very little context for a lot of the series history. Now I'm wondering how many moments I thought were just cool setpieces might've actually been throwbacks or references

Web of Shadows was my absolute favorite as a kid because it was the only one available on the Wii where you could actually just swing through the city. Then I actually played through the story and realized the game is WILD

Alyssa’s ADHD is occasionally extremely convenient because she decides to learn a craft just to make one customized nerdy thing to give me. She made this punch-needled pillow in secret for my birthday four years ago. It took her weeks. She hadn’t punch-needled before and she hasn’t since. She rules.

My fiancée Alyssa made this heart container out of stained glass! It’s her FIRST TIME doing stained glass and I admittedly don’t know anything about the art form, but 1) this feels like an elaborate starting point and 2) It came out great! I’m excited to take some pictures in the sunlight tomorrow
