In September 2020 the paddle steamer Waverley arrived at Arran's Brodick Pier with an excess of velocity, or - to put it in technical nautical terms - twatted it.
And after four and a half years of thinking about it carefully, the MAIB have finally concluded it probably shouldn't have done that.
