PhD Candidate University of Melbourne 🇦🇺 Previously at McGill University and University of Alberta 🇨🇦 I use Paramecium microcosms to experimentally test Species Distribution Model performance in non-equilibrium conditions.
Experiment underway! While it may not look like the ecosystems we’re used to, these tiny dishes are being used to generate data to test relative performance of different SDMs in “ideal” conditions.
