While we're closing the door on our one-day Hitfall events, our two-day Hitfall event will continue for the forseeable future, and we hope that other Rivals events can shine in its absence, whether here in MDVA or in our sister regions up and down the East Coast.

A lot has changed since we set out to create Hitfall in late 2022. We are coming up on our 7th(!) event together as a TO team, and since we started we've been able to work out the kinks and streamline our process for delivering the best event possible. At the same time, our personal lives are in completely different places than they were 3 years ago. Unfortunately, we are now no longer capable of devoting the amount of time, effort, and attention required to run two events a year. As such, Hitfall 4.5 will be our last one-day Hitfall. Hitfall 5 will take place as a two-day event in Autumn 2026. After that, Hitfall will return once a year as a two-day event. We know this news may be disappointing, but we hope giving ourselves the space for one big annual event will ready us to put in more effort and passion towards said event while avoiding burnout. We also hope that in lieu of future one-day Hitfalls, you consider traveling to other grassroots Rivals events that take place in the Spring, such as Full Stack or GoTE. Thank you for all your support, let's make Hitfall 4.5 a good one!

The Hitfall team have made the difficult decision to retire the one-day Hitfall format following our upcoming 4.5 event on 3/14/2025.
