I’ve now had 2 lab appointments with them so far, and each time they fucked something up. the tism is not amused.

I have to redo my 24h urine test. My useless medical center fucked up and told me to return only a small sample last week. I should’ve handed in the whole bottle. So now I have to forgo chocolate, tea, coffee, banana, vanilla, and nuts again for 3 days and then piss into a bottle again for 24 hours.

Theyre admittedly hard to find. My client has been looking for a PMM for a while and we just aren't getting any candidates that actually are a fit. Candidate pool is diverse, partially because I've shared it in my networks, so that's not to blame for once. It's just hard to find ppl who get both.

I undeniably get a kick out of this every time it happens but it also says something about the persistent disconnect between marketing and engineering teams. And that saddens me because there's so much opportunity there. The problem is that many tech companies are not hiring technical marketers.

I've seen this happen so many times: because I'm technically located in marketing, engineers are often initially reluctant when I ask them for a call. But once they meet me and see what kind of questions I ask, they tend to soften quickly and often the call ends with "anything you need, let me know"

The tendinitis in my left wrist is pretty bad so I'm using voice typing today, and it turns out that's a bit of a shit situation if your literal job is to write.

I know lots of Spaniards complain about the medical centers and GPs here, and I definitely have some struggles with mine as well. Also wait times for specialists can sometimes be long. But compared to the three other countries I’ve lived in over the past decade, it’s miles ahead still.

Yeah, Vox is a problem but so far it seems to still be a contained problem. Underserved rural areas are unsurprisingly being targeted by the right but I have some hope that Spain can avoid the current fate of other European countries. The fact that the healthcare system still works is a good sign.
