Back in the olden days, when we started a major military operation their would be a somber prime time TV address explaining WHY they made the hard decision to go war/battle. We have gotten very little why on this operation.

The current story coming out is that this target came from a perhaps older list supplied by department of something. Seeing how the Government had a falling out with claude because they wouldn't do fully autonomous attacks means that the government is willing to 'go there'.
