Yes see the darker areas on the surface? There's no snow covering the ice in those areas and you can look down into a dark abyss... There are frozen bubbles locked into the ice that fade away into 30 foot depths... Crazy but it makes your spine tingle... ✨✨✨✨

A brilliant, wet vane of aggregate rock & sand as eroded over relatively recent geological time. It had just heavily rained by means of a stunning desert thunderstorm!
