X-Wing was one of the first games to feature 3D polygon graphics for spaceships and the first non-adventure game to use the iMUSE music system.

💾 X-Wing was originally released on floppy disks in February 1993! 💾

Star Wars: The Old Republic (BioWare/EA/LucasArts) opened 14 years ago today and continues to be regularly updated.

A fun fact about this guy in Force Unleashed 2 is that originally he was named “the Orlock” after Nosferatu, but after we had already recorded and animated, somebody in legal decided that we might get sued by the Murnau estate.

Not having him and/or Black Sun in Outlaws kinda baffles me.

Battlefront II for GBA was featured in this episode of The New Adventures of Old Christine on October 9, 2006, about 11 months after its release. Just one problem -- it never came out for GBA. You also never burned any villages (right?). So much wrong here in just 12 seconds!

The Shadows of the Empire transmedia effort was truly ahead of its time. Basically had everything but live action attached to it.

Somewhat related to Shadows of the Empire, I liked Outlaws, but not including Black Sun and properly introducing Xizor to current canon was a huge missed opportunity.

June 14 1997, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire debuted on the N64 in Japan!

It is unique among Nintendo 64 games for using a digitized orchestral soundtrack (from the excellent Joel McNeely composition) instead of MIDI-sequenced synthesis, which was the original plan!

Right there with you. Here was my reaction on Facebook upon hearing the news. To your point, the one time I ever met him was at E3, enjoying games.

I gotta say: the Darth Jar Jar skin looks fine, but the bundle with the old-fashioned Episode I Jar Jar Binks looks *fantastic.*

Very excited about the launch of the 2nd dlc I worked on!
I mostly did architecture kits, so not exactly worth making an artstation post, but that dlc was a lot of fun 💅

Oooooh I forgot! I'm off to meet Kay Vess for one last adventure! Too bad I won't have time to play it right away (especially since I'm in the middle of Jedi survivor lol).
