The biggest newspaper on the eastern side of Missouri is now owned by a "down the middle" millionaire who failed to build businesses and just wants reporters to be nice to businesses. What could go wrong?

Palantir CEO Makes Shocking Confession on Disrupting Democratic Power They’re saying the quiet part out loud now.

"Palantir CEO Alex Karp says his AI technology will lessen the power of β€œhighly educated, often female voters, who vote mostly Democrat” while increasing the power of working-class men."

Just saying it right out loud now.

The current world chicken population is larger than the planet-wide non-chicken bird population not just today, but at any point in the history of earth.

The idea that the White House didn't figure Iran might try to cut off oil out of the Gulf is comical. They didn't figure for what has now become the fulcrum point of the whole conflict. Iran's leaders are now showing that regime change can work in both directions.

Then any time the courts do slap things down, the supermajority just rewrites the law to make it ok, and run it through with no resistance. Just open blatant corruption and disregard of the citizens of the state. They are speed running fascism and making $$$$$$$ on our backs.

I just don't know what anyone can do in this state. Republicans are running the state fully into the ground and no one is stopping them (kinda sounds federally familiar). Haskins is a full fledged quack who admits in court to drawing out summary cases for political benefit and courts do nothing.

Internal messages from Live Nation reveal two execs talking about "robbing [fans] blind."

β€œThese people are so stupid. I almost feel bad taking advantage of them," one says.

That man is now the head of ticketing for the unit responsible for Live Nation's 150 amphitheaters.

Y'all, this STATE CONTROLLED SLMPD budget demand is absolutely insane. Of course we knew it would be, but how. dare. they. think that taking money from other city services actually benefits our city? This is a police state budget, not a human, resident-benefitting budget. #STL #fundpeoplenotcops

Missouri under 20+ years of GOP rule has become a state dominated by cops and the rich. It is no safer and most definitely no better off because of it. Citizens are poorer, with less resources, and with less of a voice. It's a dominated state.

Currently, Missouri is one of the worst states in the country for women's health. Here, we see higher rates of maternal mortality, infant mortality, and preterm births than the national average.

Live Nation settles US antitrust case Live Nation Entertainment β€Œhas reached a proposed settlement with the U.S. Justice Department, according to β€Œa court hearing on Monday.

Instead of taking Live Nation-Ticketmaster to trial, Trump just let them off the hook.

The federal government had been building a case for years, and could have broken up the Live Nation-Ticketmaster monopoly.

But Trump just let them settle out of court.

I continue to be gobsmacked at 1) how common this formulation is 2) how antisemitic and generally bigoted it is 3) and how for all the talk of anti-semitism this is never cited as an example even though it’s quite literally the original incarnation.
