@markmoxon.bsky.social i was involved in a discussion over of a spectrum Facbook group about Elite. A few people said the mining lasers were more powerful than the military one, i said it must be a bug on the speccy then someone said it was also the case on the BBC B. Can you help?
Not saying I see retro games everwhere but this character in a youtube video has a bit of a Mr Do! Look about him right?
Why have i just seen a job for a windows 10 rollout engineer, security cleared as well. Good to see that some part of our defense infrastructure is finally getting windows 10 2 months before it goes end of life. Crazy...
How odd, I just purchased a new old stock 11th gen desktop PC. On the back it has ps/2 ports for the keyboard and mouse and a parallel port for a printer? I know the computer isnt current gen but I thought those interfaces were long consigned to the past. It replaced a 6th gen i7, windows 11 sigh.
It needed more view of what was ahead of the car.
So i am currently looking for work and some of the jobs i see advertised are shocking. Currently getting spammed for one where you are based in Birmingham, have to travel to London once a month and provide out of hours on call. They want someone experienced for the princely sum of ยฃ26k lol
I got that on launch, i also had the stars screen saver. That had a really good cantina screen saver on it.
Yeah i was looking for one a while back and the prices were pretty high, i decided not to bother in the end.
The thing is Nintendo thought it was about fans wanting the console or games first. I found it was because it was cheaper.
This guy....
Browser screenshot with an unhealthy amount of tabs
Last day at work, I should have already wiped this laptop but I need to get on a teams call one last time. The thing I will miss the most is my tabs in my browser... So long sweet tabs..
Back from the time of Grey imports. I think most people I knew with a SNES here in the UK had some JAP games. I worked in a computer shop where we had a JAP Super Famicom hooked up to a projector with F-Zero running. (Got replaced with a PS1 and Wipeout down the line)
So somewhere another version of you that is also you has just posted exactly the same thing? Physics is hard and confusing.
I still play this now, it was a goto game at university when it came out.
I suppose part of it were the games didnt really appeal to me. I preferred SF 2 to King Of Fighters and bullet hell shooters were not my thing. Other games on it felt like cut down copies of other arcade games.
The Neo Geo arcade machine always felt cheap or a cut down experience compared to all the dedicated cabs around at the time. I saw them in the wild plenty of times but very rarely put any money in them. Especially if they were running Neo Geo versions of other arcade games.
I had totally forgotten about these. The amount of dubious phone tools I had back in the day for changing these and altering ring tones along with other unlocking apps. I kept them on a laptop that i didn't do anything else with as most of them seemed like they were malware, but they worked.
Never even knew this was a thing, I have just played around with it and it is fun. Thanks for sharing.
This is ROOM ESCAPE MAKER, an #indiedev #solodev project. It's a platform to play and build #escaperooms online as #pointandclick games.
In edition mode, you add graphics and interactions to create #puzzles, making it harder for players to escape.
I hope you enjoy it ๐ช๐๐ค๐ญ๐ก๐

I sent you the link in chat, I had to put it on my drive as i didn't have permissions on yours. Let me know if it is ok
Oh, each page is a scanned image... Yeah word wouldn't like that. I am running it through the Adobe Acrobat OCR Now. Where do you want me to put it once it's done?
I have adobe here at work. I can do it for you if you want to send it. My last day is thursday though. Alternatively you can open the pdf in word and it should convert it for you.
I had the Atari ST Original and then went out and brought the SNES version when it released for the extra scenes. I can't even remember what those extra scenes were now but I am sure it was worth it.
Well that explains it then.
The leap in price of games for the Amiga and ST is one of the reasons so many of them were pirated. All my games were original for my 8 bit machines as they were affordable. That is at least my experience.
As I only play games on the TV now, not having a keyboard and mouse stopped me playing those games. I did play Doom modded for VR and I couldn't play it for longer than a couple of minutes, I put that down to VR though.
I played this when they had it at Blackpool Pleasure Beach U.K. It was like multiplayer Starblade.
Also Kettles, Good for those. I believe they favour the Microwave for a cup of tea in the U.S. though.
