Seems like a terrible idea that could have the unintended but hilarious side effect of making 3rd parties viable.
It's been broken beyond fixing. And the faster we all adjust to this idea and get to work on something better than the US ever was to begin with the fewer kids will grow up in this violent and bigoted hell hole.
I see people making the point that if this keeps going, we won't have a nation.
But if we have a system incapable of bringing criminals to justice for their criminal acts, without fear or favor, then we ALREADY don't have a nation.
Like the constant Trolley Problem chatter feels linked to the over-eagerness of the Yglesiases and Newsoms of the world to find vulnerable people to sacrifice for the greater good. Like it's a way to make HURTING people somehow seem VIRTUOUS.

We'd get tornadoes "out of season" back then but the majority, nationally, happened in those three months.
I don't know what the averages look like these days, and they're only gonna get weirder as the earth heats more.
