The comparison is more about the flow and structure of the game than about quality. Though Master of Piece is quite good, even in its early access state.
The concepts and mechanics of Master of Piece will be familiar to anyone who has played Slay the Spire or its many derivatives, but MoP sets itself apart enough to remain an engaging experience.
