#ICYMI Yesterday Apple debuted its designs for Unicode's Emoji 17.0 recommendations.

These new designs were included in iOS 26.4 beta 4 and are expected to be made available to the public in the coming weeks (likely in April).

iOS 26.4 beta 3 has a new build (23E5223k), but the Emoji 17.0 situation remains unchanged.

The Unicode characters are still present within the emoji keyboard (as they were in build 23E5223f), but they continue to lack proper designs, displaying as "missing characters".
