Yes, DHS wants to build a wall in Big Bend National Park. This will change unique and delicate ecosystems, possibly permanently. They say this is for border security, but illegal crossings had already dropped by 74% in 2025.

🤬Last year, the Trump administration targeted our history- explicitly naming Independence National Historical Park in an executive order and later requiring the site to report its own signage and exhibits to a nationwide NPS database of materials that might conflict with the Trump agenda.

A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to restore the slavery exhibits at the President’s House in Philadelphia after the DOI forced the park to dismantle the panels recognizing the nine enslaved Africans held there by George Washington.

We’ve been here before. We’ve seen our government round up and imprison citizens based on racial profiling. We’ve seen them murder peaceful people in cold blood. We’ve seen them create groups of people that are deemed “lesser than.”
