New PHP Tek Blog Post: Getting Around Chicago

Yeah, that seemed odd to me. Do I want to laser my print bed? I don't think I do. But I'm very interested in the dual heads.
@lucky13toys.bsky.social my 5 year old just came up and asked me for a 'coloring page like the dummies' - and he pointed to the dummy 13 figures I had. Thought you'd like that. So I had ChatGPT draw one up.
I feel like the @bambulabglobal.bsky.social H2D extras like the laser / plotter are just a bit of noise - but the dual head solves my primary interest in multihead printers, being able to print flexible + rigid.
Looks like @bambulabglobal.bsky.social will be releasing a dual extruder. Not sure that'll change my mind about my next printer being a 5 head @prusa3d.com. But I love the new Bambu @kickstarter.com campaign (yes, I backed).
Excited to give this new talk.
It's that time again. The #phptek Call For Snakes. That's right, the coveted Battle Snake Trophy is coming back the Chicago (did it ever leave?) and you could take it home: forms.gle/4muPFQQbR4Mq... @phparch.com
Very early flight to ORD for php[tek] 23. For those of you heading that way too, see you soon.
But I'm one of those 100.
Haven't been able to get the pigs on new pasture yet, but was out trimming the fences and figured I'd cut some fresh grass for them. Happy pigs. ๐ท
But honestly, PHP is a good templating language. As long as you make it clear what a template is.
Ha, I meant nothing more than being silly.
Our dog had some deal with the hens a few winters ago. They'd lay in a secret place and he'd grab them and bury them in the snow. Then eat them.
No short tags?
Honestly, RSS was pretty great, right?
There's always next week.
Interesting, looks like I can't post the full image.
Here's the entire presentation for the talk we're giving on our practical use of HAL / Hypermedia at #php #tek23 this month. Anyone here going?
A programmer had a problem. He thought to himself, "I know, I'll solve it with threads!". has Now problems. two he
Been a while since I played with them, but there are tags you should be able to write to from a phone, and just set the data to a URL.
๐ huge advantage.
Chickens are the gateway to pigs.
Bought an ender 3 a few years back and love using it for practical prints around the house, shop, homestead.
I'm here for you.
I built my latest dev system early 2021 and couldn't either find, or be willing to pay for, any significantly powerful GPU. Basically, a similar experience to shopping for lumber.

Yeah, noticed the article was posted on mastodon. That prompted me to post it here.
Not sure how many #php people there are on here, but #tek23 is next month and I'm really excited to be together with our whole dev team.
