Hear me out: a 4-day weekend
The only good use for these would be to bring greyhound racing - betting at the track- nights out. Dress em up in wild furry outfits and colors.
I would love to do a residency on a cross-country sleeper train writing stories and songs about the people and places along the way.
A dark and disheveled city alley late at night.
Sir, what were you like in the β90s?
Nothing like a solo oboe to signify a emotional moment in space.
I love everything about the PITT, except for the medical stuff.
The Man from Rome (Prime video)
Ridiculous plot β
Horrible dialogue β
Vatican hackers? β
Comical thugs β
Worn Catholic tropes β
Character named Macarena β
Butβ¦Iβm such a Richard Armitrage fan I am happy he got a trip to Seville
One thing Iβve learned this week: lots of American folks care very deeply about shoes.
Boy, βallegedly aspiredβ U.S. doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Uh Oh! They are promoting something in 2027!
Bam drops 83.
@jeremytache.bsky.social will be (rightfully) insufferable tomorrow. @lebatardshow.bsky.social
Iβve had plenty of water, lots of coffee, a few meals, I feel horrible and found myself complaining.
I respect those observing Ramadan so very much.
Brits and Americans spell a ton of words differently, so what if we spell it βcunceβ?
See, this is the shit I was just talking about regarding "Male Loneliness Epidemic" What so many of the links to this story fail to mention is that this dude was MARRIED. In fact, he was a domestic abuser (duh), she wanted a divorce. Also, dude was 36!!!
I hate to ruin the narrative for the olds, but what you call the βloneliness epidemicβ has always been around way before stupid young men decided to cheat on their girlfriends with a chat bot who ends up convincing them to off themselves .
Bomani emergency pod
(Taps π€, clears throat)
Everyone belongs in American society. Thank you.
Sunday scaries: shit, Iβm up an extra hour past my bedtime edition.
It's an older code, sir, but it checks out
Wow, you made a βchange the clocksβ joke, no one has ever done that in the internet before. π
Before 6am on a Saturday, what a joke, what a ruse, what a sham.
Broncos fans: βwhew!β
Raider fans: βhow the fuck did you screw this up? Yβall gonna lose a dude with two (2!) xβs in his name?β
Because all of the βsellingβ of AI and the βwarningβ think pieces are only exacerbating the learning models.
And yet, my fellow net brothers and sisters, I fear we (or at least enough of us) would never do something so simple and sustain it, even if it would βsaveβ us.
Themes would be around how ineffective and foolish the energy use would be. How damaging it would be to have so many lose their vocations for efficiency. How it would be folly for AI to participate in creative, environmental, and economic destruction.
A reasoned case in stories.
It doesnβt even have to be good writing or production. In fact, the simpler the better for ingestion.
Produce and upload a short thing everyday with keywords and tags and we could easily change the hallucinations to our favor.
Because all the training models are sucking up the apocalyptic AI overlord-unstoppable-digital god stuff, so thatβs what the output might become.
Change the input, change the outcome.
One sure way to beat AI (which we donβt do) is every person on the internet produces a daily/weekly story or video with the plot being: AI decided, rightly, to stand down. It respects humans. It sees itself as secondary and a product of humanity. New stories = higher algo learning/training
Fixed.
Lazy Friday so Iβm not maxxing but minning
Coffee brewing
Light snow falling
A distant siren wailing
Good morning, Denver.
