Yep!! It’s weird… like a shortcut in my brain that I know the color is there so I don’t have to actually see it… or something lol

i think we all need to normalize just being comfortable with giving earnest compliments without weird caveats. if your friend does something cool, tell them it’s cool. i don’t necessarily thrive on compliments, but it does means a lot if a friend goes out of their way to say something kind to me.
