I got to properly stream today for the first time in MONTHS and it was so much fun! Really getting into Marathon and hopefully might be able to stream a littleee bit more frequently moving forward too!

this is a solidly accurate review of the game, and while I would say that at 5v5 the game is *more* enjoyable, it still feels messy and cobbled together and unsure of what it's supposed to be.

Crazy to me that every other storefront has an issue with Steam being miles ahead but then refuse to make them appealing enough to users that they might wanna switch.

Both Epic and now GOG keep shooting themselves in the foot by using and defending AI.

The bubble needs to burst.

So I planned on building a bee farm, but while designing the aesthetics for it I decided I wanted to use froglights. 3 days later and I've got a froglight farm and far more froglights than I'm ever going to use :D

planning on opening these for ~$60 to get some work through january for both me and oz, which are notoriously dead months for artists

(understandably so since a lot of folks spend during the holidays)

It was frustrating for sure, I'm also wearing mine almost every day, but I managed to get my replacements for quite the discount so I'll not complain (too much haha)

I replaced my docs last year after my previous pair wore that same hole through the sole with only a year of wear! My new pair look like they're heading for the same fate T-T

Starting my year with a spot of spring cleaning (in winter, I know) both physically and digitally.

Cleared out a lot of the junk from my room, and cleaned up my discord server list to less than half of what it was.

Tomorrow the bedroom cleaning continues!

2025's been a weird year. Better than last year (by a LOT), but still not great. Hopefully 2026 will go a little better!

Safe to say my armour was BATTERED so I finally got round to buying a few more mending books from my villager too, only for him to level up and offer me... MORE MENDING BOOKS!

Next on the list is to beat the dragon, get an elytra, and then go mining for Netherite!

It's been over a year since the update, but today was the first time I ever beat a Trial Chamber! With help from @fawnsinforests.bsky.social and @pyrolyse.arkv.me, we gave it a good go, leading to me getting a heavy core from my first ominous vault!

A look at the *very* messy redstone responsible for sorting the drops from the guardian farm for autocrafting, including a classic, tileable redstone item filter, auto-crafters by Rays Works, silent dropper-elevators by ilmango, and smart item dividers by EliTheWolf

Alongside the storage on the floor below, I wanted the farm to automatically craft up the prismarine blocks before storing them, so people could just come and take the blocks they needed! The redstone's a mess, but it features contraptions by ilmango, Rays Works and EliTheWolf, and it all works!

This one was a CHALLENGE! In Homely w1, I didn't end up making a proper storage system for the guardian farm, so it was high on my list for w2. Using plenty of stripped warped logs, dark prismarine, sandstone, glass, and packed mud, I finally got it done :D

I wanted a fun way to get up and down the floors of my base, so Doctor Plasma's multi-floor 3x3 elevator was the way to go! This one isn't technically complete yet, but it's fully functioning and I can add new levels as and when I need them.

First up: the iron farm!

This thing is wayyy more efficient than I could ever need it to be, but it is a gnembon design so who's surprised? Wrangling the villagers for this one was NOT fun, so I'm glad it's out of the way now!

I've been really getting back into Minecraft again lately (motivated a LOT by the new season of Hermitcraft) and I've finally made a bit of progress on the Homely server, so I thought I'd share some of what I've been working on here!
