It’s a different thing, but I feel the same way about people publicly resigning from A.I. companies saying how much they respect the work or the founder. Especially when using X to do it.
It is equally awful to abuse people in the ways outlined in this article if you are a great chef or a terrible chef or an average chef. Nobody should feel obligated to admit that they learned a lot while being hit and punished and abused. It doesn’t matter. You could learn just as much without that.
