Been playing through the OG Final Fantasy VII, it's really got it's hooks in me, I'm enjoying it a lot😊 Also can we please bring back pre-rendered backgrounds? There is so much storytelling that can be done with a fixed camera that just cant be accomplished the same way with a 3rd person camera

Alright seems bsky has a 2000 px in either direction cap which I'm usually a bit over which it then downsizes to so it ends up looking off. I'll upload future stuff with that in mind. Here's a more zoomed crop if you wanna see some of the messy details better

Bsky always adds an extra pass of compression on my images, not sure how to avoid this. If any artists have tips to keep the quality up lemme know

For as much of a Gainax/Trigger fan as I am, I still haven't watched Gurren Lagann, which feels deeply sinful on my part

It is Peak and she is Best Girl. In all seriousness It's an anime from the early 2000s made by a lot of the same people that went on to found Studio Trigger. It's only 6 episodes, definitely worth your time if you like absolutely wild animation

Does anyone even remember FLCL exists in 2026?

2025 was weird, I'm proud of a lot of the things I made, but had tons of issues with productivity and consistent so that's what I want to work on in 2026. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me this year and I hope you'll stick around for another❤️
