yup. i also got 2 weeks off at christmas break
it does suck having unpaid periods of time without work from a monetary standpoint, but from a personal standpoint, i fucking love having 1-2 whole weeks off every few months

wait yeah, if you remember, show me what they have next time youre there
sometimes i remember alien stage and look at mizisua keychains bc the official merch is really cute and then i look at shipping from korea and go i guess not tonight...
mizi/sua from alien stage existing on the level of codependence of "letting my girlfriend sacrifice herself for me because i knew she couldn't live without me" lives sort of rent free in my brain
digital art done in rebelle 7, with a couple characters from the game resident evil: requiem. POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW ! the centre of the composition is Grace Ashcroft, down on her knee, holding Emily in her arms. Grace is holding a makeshift knife made out of half of big scissors. sheβs looking up, her big eyes very scared. Emily seems to be unconscious, but sheβs holding the star cube in her left hand. above grace thereβs the monster known as The Girl, with her teethy mouth wide open and her hands reaching out to Grace and Emily. in the background of all these sad children thereβs a big silhouette of the doll you can find in the cell next to Emilyβs. the dollβs head is split in the middle, from top to bottom, the split looks like a mouth, with weird pointy teeth. that surely doesnβt allure to anything in particular. dollβs eyes lack pupils. thereβs a shackle on her left ankle. there are also the moon, the star, and the sun symbols. the moon looks like a handcuff on The Girlβs arm, the sun is hiding behind Graceβs shoulder, and the star is above the dollβs shoulder. everything is in grayscale except for upper half of Grace and Emilyβs bodies, and the dollβs face and hands, which are done in red.
metamorphosis #re9
im really simple, i love resident evil, it will be hard to beat this as my goty
re9 is genuinely so scary lmao. maybe the scariest resident evil
like why should i be treated like the weird and pretentious one for thinking that an mmo cannot possibly satisfy all my needs
hell, i'm depressed and have difficulty getting up the motivation to do anything right now, but i find it super weird how x/iv fans will just outright say that being interested in nothing but an mmo is a coping mechanism as if this is a super normal explanation and not something to self-examine
i can't handle ppl who only play/discuss/think about ffx/iv acting like it's an insane and pretentious thing to be into more than 1 thing... i want to talk about more than 1 interest
I'm supposed to get married this year but look around. How can I bring a wife into this world
ive never played a full run of the stardew valley video game, but the stardew valley co-op board game is my favorite game to play with my roommate π
re9 is fun
On the left side Grace Ashcroft leaning on the wall and frozen in fear. On the right side behind the wall, a tall monster "the girl", colored in red light .
#ResidentEvil Requiem
you could read it as a story about a bunch of girls and their pet harmless guy who they fight over as proxy to hang out with each other while they deal with turbulent teenage girl emotions
i like harem manga when they're fun bc they basically have to make up contrivances to keep a mostly female cast that usually results in the girls being into each other as part of the love conflicts, and dudes being into the lead as well, and r+v does all that very amicably
gang has been rereading and realizing that rosario + vampire has jokes about fandom and gender dynamics that feel weirdly prescient for a 2000s manga. straight up yuri and yaoi gags that read like bsky posts
Halmarut
PAGLIACCI is a) hands-down THE coolest screenplay i've ever read and b) one of the most compelling pieces of original fiction i've enjoyed in the last 2 years. you absolutely NEED to read this. multimedia freaks rise up
and they just don't really make sufficiently horror-flavored rpgs that serve as massive watercooler social games, and i dont think something like that would get as popular as xiv/bg3/fire emblem anyway. and i like those things in large part for the social story-sharing aspect
and most mainstream games just dont have exceptional stories to me. hell, i wouldnt say something like re7, arguably my favorite game rn, has a particularly good story, but it has killer scene-setting and ambiance, which is what matters to me in a horror game
