I created a new section on my blog called "Sparks", where I'll share quick commands and configurations that have been useful to me. The first one concerns accessing an SRV2KA UPS via SNMPv3 from Home Assistant.
Hi, everyone!
AITA for not believing my friend was raised from the dead until he showed me his wounds?
My (M30s) best friend (M33) was recently raised from the dead. I didn't believe him at first and asked for evidence. Now he is dragging me and calling me ye of little faith. AITA for wanting proof?

I thought people were exaggerating when I heard that toddlers are on a never-ending quest to kill themselves. They truly are!
Remember when people were spending a million dollars or more for a jpg of a monkey?

You are bread limited.
What really saddens me about the events of this weekend is that a lot of niche knowledge will be lost. If people that won't use Reddit anymore move to Discord servers, we won't be able to easily find newer info they post via search engines. That's where we all lose from this.

I feel like my generation experienced Peak Internet and we’re now on a downward trend.
Google Search sucks. You can’t trust Amazon ratings. Twitter & Reddit are at war with their users. Every useful news site is paywalled and every garbage one is free.
Turns out 2010s were the good old days.
Reddit is gone 😔
George: I watched the tape, Jerry!
Jerry: The tape that kills you in seven days?!?
George: That tape, Jerry!!
Jerry: YOU NEVER WATCH THE TAPE!! WHY WOULD YOU WATCH THE TAPE?!?
as a general life rule if a guy asks me to get into his little submarine that he operates with a knockoff playstation controller i will say no
Also, from what I've read, since the Apollo dev offered to sell the app for half the yearly price. If Reddit had actually thought API access was worth that much, it would have been a no-brainer.
I hate that negotiation strategy of starting with a ridiculous first offer ($20M a year in the case of Apollo). I guess it works, otherwise, they wouldn't try it as much.
I bet he could have easily worked out a revenue share agreement with Apollo.
