Not gonna lie. I was surprised to learn the diagnosis was so new. 😅

Showing Squirtle their new home next to a pond with a fountain is nice. A lovely little escape from a world without Squirtle.
Update 1.9 adds Snap Turn to the accessibility options in @owlchemylabs.com's VR game Dimensional Double Shift.
Snap Turn allows players to turn around on the spot without moving. It's always available from the menu, and can be set to be visible in the HUD.

I color match my (often already muted) clothes to the occasion, but I don't owe anyone the sensory hell that is a suit.
Oof, the migraine hangover is always rough. Hope today allows for a bit of rest!
Hoping to be less mentally frazzled tomorrow, and time to be less fractured, so I can finally sit down for Pokopia.
I'm really excited for it, but I know starting a new game with depleted mental reserves does not equal a good time.

Pokémon Pokopia is finally out and with it being a flagship Nintendo game it is actually quite accessible, so let us highligh it! 🌱
Here is a list over all the accessibility settings in the game at launch ❤️
Remakes, remasters, and ports are opportunities to improve the accessibility of (older) games.
This is why the closure of Bluepoint Games and canceling PC ports raises some concerns about the accessibility of PlayStation titles past, present, and future.

Busy backgrounds and other design choices can make navigating menus more difficult than it needs to be.
Despite a bunch of accessibility options, High on Life 2 also set an example of the importance of making sure the menus themselves are accessible too.

Rainbow Gate struggles with accessibility despite a Story Mode difficulty and subtitles in many languages.
No remapping, dark visuals, and a lack of colorblind accessibility can make this game more horrifying than it intends to be.

How nice of Starmer to invite Trump's illegal war to EU territory while sitting cozily on the other side of the continent.

The fact that they had to label it like that shows it isn't even obvious to those who might see the colors.
Not to mention how difficult the buttons are to read / no Braille (and assuming no audible feedback).
But hey, there's a wheelchair icon *checks box*
ACAB also includes "brave troops" following illegal orders in an illegal war.
The queen herself
It tells me Anthropic is the only one of the AI grifters that doesn't have Trump-aligned leadership. And / or a good sense of PR trying to cash in on this tiny ledge of moral high ground.
I bet FIFA is already polishing another peace trinket for the predator-in-chief.
The Pitt's back to analog is giving me flashbacks to mid-90's hospital fun times when there was hardly a computer in sight and everything worked out pretty well.
Pneumatic tube mail was a hoot though. *Floomp*
In case you missed it, the Access-Ability Summer Showcase returns this year on the opening day of Summer Games Fest (June 5).
Like previous editions, it is set to highlight accessible games and feature accessibility advocates and disabled gamers.

No nekky noods for the fur tubes
If you're a fan of games like Portal or The Talos Principle, ChromaGun 2 is right up your alley. There are also a few fun Easter eggs, but I kept those out of my spoiler-free review.
Its colorblind mode is helpful for anyone, and overall the game should be very accessible to most people.
Having played through the whole game, Marijn found excellent colorblind accessibility in ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard, and clever cognitive accessible design as well.
There's also room for improvement, especially for text sizes and a few tricky transitions.
