Haven’t been around here in awhile because I’ve got two jobs now and these furballs make housework 10x more difficult but 100x cuter.

The main problem with running a business while also working a p/t job and helping my husband rehab from spine and brain surgeries is that I haven’t accounted for any days off. About to start week 3 and I’m already tired.

Hey did I mention I got a part-time job working at Portland Leather? It’s pretty cool and I get to see lots of humans which is nice but my feet hurt a lot. Also I smell like leather all the time which isn’t the worst. I used to smell like old coffee.

Any other 80s kids watch Mannequin when you were very little and feel like you’ve have weird relationship expectations as an adult? Or just a strange relationship with the song Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now?

I haven’t worn makeup in a long time, but I decided to make a batch of foundation, concealer, highlighter, and bronzer, since I used to love making them. Now I just have to figure out how to put them on my 42yo face 🫠

I thought when my husband had brain surgery last week that I’d feel relief when it was over (which I did) but now I’m 100x more stressed about his recovery. Fear of stroke, and falling, and infection have me in a chokehold.

Worked out on my elliptical today for the first time in about a month. It’s so hard to get back into it after having plantar fasciitis. My body feels great, except for my left foot which wants to punish me for the next 2 weeks.
