I'm thinking they might just upload a little video celebration. Not really a Direct, but just some video and then there's still a chance at the new 3D Mario being shown off, but I won't really hold my breath.

Hopefully when they do patch this, they fix the online matchmaking when you are playing with friends in Knockout Tour. We keep getting kicked out and it's extremely annoying.

The thing is, playing online with your friends in random lobbies acts just fine.
